Raising money for The Pilgrim's Hospice supported by kmfm Radio and Great Chart Golf & Leisure

On Friday 4th June 2010, a lovely sunny day, little did the unsuspecting public know of the drama about to unfold.  In the idyllic surroundings of Great Chart Golf and Leisure, Martin risked all to help to raise money for another worthy cause, The Pilgrim's Hospice.

The Pilgrim's Hospice had arranged a Zorbing event in conjunction with kmfm Radio so Martin went along to show his support.  Little did he know he was about to become .......

Safely strapped in he prepared for his quest, Kirstyn from kmfm Radio's Breakfast Show audibly yelling support from the bottom of the ramp(yes she really did yell "Go on Martin!!!" that loudly), the ball was released. 

Scary stuff or what????

As if Zorbing wasn't challenging enough Martin tells me he wants to try Wing Walking. 

Martin had a great time and had a good chat with Kirstyn and Webbo from kmfm who have, of course, adopted kmfm Basil. 

As a result of all this fun and frolicking we are now planning a sponsored bike ride from Great Chart Golf & Leisure to Canterbury Horse Rescue followed by a Fun Day at the CHR centre.  This will take place some time in August so keep watching the website for news.
