kmfm's Kirstyn and Webbo

meet kmfm's Basil!

Kirstyn and Webbo visited Canterbury Horse Rescue to meet Basil.  kmfm have adopted Basil who is a gorgeous little Dartmoor pony.  He is still very young and was a little camera shy but seemed very happy with the fuss and attention he was receiving!!  Webbo even gave him a kiss!

Kirstyn and Webbo had a great time meeting Basil and looking round the centre, meeting the founder, Martin King (who was on his best behaviour), Stella King, the Yard Manager and a number of other staff and volunteers.

They met some of the other centre residents, including Wesley (below) who is a driving pony and even sometimes pulls a small plough.

Thelma the Carriage Horse got up close and personal .... "If I pick Webbo's nose with my ear Kirstyn might not notice me picking her pocket!!!!"

Here we see Kirstyn with Webbo and Pandora the Donkey ..... but which one is which???

Kirstyn and Webbo also met Rodney and Goose who were rescued by Canterbury Horse Rescue 2 weeks ago from a field by the A20 in Ashford.  As can be seen from the photo below they have settled into the centre really well and are putting on much needed weight.

Many thanks from the Trustees and Martin & Stella to Kirstyn and Webbo for taking the time to visit the Centre and see first hand the work that they and all the centre staff and volunteers are so passionate about.  Thanks again!!!!!
